  • Employment: €6,301 monthly gross pay (median for expert-level software development, Entgeltatlas 2025) × 12 = €75,612. Employer contributions for health, care, pension and unemployment insurance add approximately €15,300. Model uses TK rates and contribution ceilings for 2026, outside Saxony. Annual cost: approximately €90,912, excluding other levies, accident insurance, recruitment and equipment.
  • The employment example assumes 1,600 available working hours per year: €90,912 ÷ 1,600 = €56.82/h. At 1,800 hours this would be €50.51/h. A fully utilised employee can cost less. These hours are modelling assumptions, not measured developer averages. Displayed prices are rounded to whole euros.
